NOTICE ***
On April 5, 2010, eHow announced that
it would no longer be accepting new writers through eHow. You now
must join through Demand Studios and use that as your writing platform.
I have no idea how this works so I will not recommend it at this point.
From what I have heard, Demand Studios is hard to write for. I will
try it and will let you know how it works out for me. For any of
you who have written for eHow, as it stand for now, our live articles will
stay on the site and will continue to earn and will will still get paid
each month as usual (yippee!). We just can't publish new articles,
with some exceptions by those who have been accepted at DS and are waiting
for their accounts to be activated.

Before I start telling you about my eHow
experience I want you to know that I do not make any money by sending you
there. eHow does not have a referral program. So you don't
need to sign up under me and you don't have to go out and get people to
sign up under you to make money. You simply write and submit "How
to" articles and eHow will share part of their advertising revenue with
you based on how successful your article is.
Just so you know that I really do write
articles for eHow (I am now an official eHow addict) take a quick look
at my articles-here-then
come right back and read on.
I know what you are thinking... you are
not a writer, right? Well you don't have to be a writer to write
for eHow. You just have to know how to do something! I don't
consider myself a writer and to be honest, I didn't feel qualified to tell
someone how to do something either. But I was curious to see
if eHow would really pay me for an article so I took a chance and gave
it a shot.
I joined eHow on January 17, 2009 and I
wrote my first less than brilliant article titled-How
to Give a Fussy Dog a Pill. I told you is was less than brilliant!
But I could not come up with a better idea so I just went with it.
I was so embarrassed by that article that I didn't tell anyone about it
and I just let it sit there. A week later I saw that my article had
earned 6 cents. SIX WHOLE CENTS! Normally I don't get excited
over 6 cents but for some reason earning 6 little pennies for my silly
article got me motivated to keep writing. So I wrote another article,
then another, then another. And slowly the pennies kept coming.
By the end of January I had earned exactly
$1.00. I know that sounds pathetic. But I had only five articles
and four of those had only been on the site for one week (the dog pill
article was up for two weeks). I knew that from the little I had
read about eHow that it took time for the articles to get picked up in
the search engines so I figured a buck to begin with was cool. So
I kept writing and writing and writing. And by the end of February
I had earned $25.77! And eHow automatically deposited the money into
my paypal account... just like they said they would!
By now I was really curious as to how eHow
worked and what I could do to improve my earnings. So I went to the
forums and spent hours reading the posts. And when I saw how much
money some people were making there I nearly passed out! There are
people there who earn over $1,000 a month with their articles. One
man earned over $1,200 in Feb 09 and he had only been writing for one year!
You see, once you write an article it keeps on earning money for as long
as it stays on the site. So if you hit on a good subject and the
article brings in $3.00 one month it is very likely to bring in $3.00 every
month! So when you build up your library of articles you can really
earn some big bucks! And even if you stop writing you will keep earning
on all your previous articles!
I'm not going to get into all the terms
and stuff about eHow because you can read all that on their site.
I'm just here to encourage you to JOIN RIGHT NOW and write SOMETHING!
Write anything! The sooner you start the sooner you will start earning
and the more you will learn! JUST DO IT!
